Groupe ADF Inc. is seeking a skilled welder to perform a range of welding and metal fabrication tasks at our Quebec location. The role requires reading blueprints, operating manual and semi-automatic welding machines, and ensuring welds meet required standards.

Candidates should be prepared for physically demanding, on-site work with heavy metals. Relocation assistance is not indicated; safety checks, PPE, and compliance with security protocols are expected.

Responsibilities

• Interpret welding process specifications.
• Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment.
• Read and interpret welding blueprints and manuals.

• Operate flame-cutting equipment.
• Fit, braze and torch-straighten metal.
• Operate oxygen arc cutting equipment.
• Hoist and lift materials as required.
• Maintain and repair welding equipment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

TASKS

• Interpret welding process specifications
• Operate manual or semi-automatic, fully automated welding equipment
• Read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings specifications, manuals and processes
• Examine welds and ensure that they meet standards and/or specifications
• Operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment
• Fit, braze and torch-straighten metal
• Operate oxygen arc cutting equipment (arc-air), (AOC)
• Operate hoisting and lifting equipment
• Operate previously set-up welding machines to fabricate or repair metal parts and products
• Maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing and soldering equipment
