VAW Systems Ltd. in Canada seeks an experienced welder to join our manufacturing team. You will read blueprints, interpret welding specifications and operate manual, semi-automatic and automated welding equipment to produce high‑quality welds.

The role requires inspecting welds and maintaining equipment in a fast‑paced shop setting. On-site work with opportunities in custom fabrication; candidates should have 2+ years of welding experience and relevant education or certification.

Competenze

• Education as stated or equivalent experience.
• 2 years to <3 years welding experience.
• Canadian Welding Bureau Certification or equivalent preferred.

TASKS

• Interpret welding process specifications
• Operate manual or semi-automatic, fully automated welding equipment
• Read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings specifications, manuals and processes
• Examine welds and ensure that they meet standards and/or specifications
• Determine weldability of materials
• Operate hoisting and lifting equipment
• Maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing and soldering equipment

CREDENTIALS
