Job summary

Cactus Ship Repair in Cape Breton, NS / Mount Pearl, NL is seeking a Welder/Fabricator to perform structural and pipe welding, fabrication, and repair of marine structures and equipment in a hands-on shop environment.

You will read and interpret technical drawings and specifications, apply MIG/TIG/STICK welding, and contribute to safe, high-quality marine repairs. Maritime experience is valued and interprovincial certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• MIG, TIG, and stick welding experience required.
• Red Seal or interprovincial certification preferred.
• Experience in a marine or industrial environment an asset.
