Job summary

Neptunus Yachts International is seeking a fabricator in St. Catharines, ON to support marine fabrication and installation projects.

You will read welding blueprints, operate a range of welding equipment, and fabricate or repair metal parts to exact specifications. The role requires experience with MIG (GMAW) and FCAW processes, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work in a dusty, physically demanding environment.

• Interpret welding process specifications.
• Install door, window and other hardware.
• Determine weldability of materials.
• Verify accuracy and completeness of data.
• Operate oxygen arc cutting equipment (arc-air), (AOC).
• Operate previously set-up welding machines to fabricate or repair metal parts and products.
• Examine welds and ensure that they meet standards and/or specifications.
• Operate hoisting and lifting equipment.
• Verify machined parts for conformance to specifications using precision measuring instruments.
• Verify dimensions of products for accuracy and conformance to specifications using precision measuring instruments.
