Job summary

Kaayu Technologies is seeking an assembler-welder to join a close-knit team in Lévis, Canada. You will work in various assembly and welding departments, with a schedule of Monday-Thursday 7:00–16:30 and Friday 7:00–12:00.

Qualifications

  • Assembly experience and ability to read shop drawings.
  • CWB cards are a big plus.
  • Salary ranges from $27.00 to $37.00 per hour depending on experience.

Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret shop and assembly drawings.
  • Determine, prepare, measure, and cut the required materials.
  • Use GMAW manual or semi-automatic welding equipment, and other equipment.
  • Assemble and adjust metal parts according to the plans.
  • Comply with the welding requirements and dimensions specified on the drawings.
  • Apply paint to welds as needed.
  • Install, lift, and move materials using lifting equipment and overhead cranes.
  • Verify the conformity between the drawings and the work performed.
  • Perform a periodic check of the condition of the equipment used.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace.

Job description

As an assembler-welder, you will work within a close-knit team, with the opportunity to join different assembly and welding departments. This role will offer you numerous opportunities to contribute to diverse and stimulating projects.

  • Schedule: Monday to Thursday, from 7:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Friday, from 7:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Perform a periodic check of the condition of the equipment used
