Job summary

Vidir Solutions Inc. is seeking a Welder for Afternoon Shift (Mon-Thu, 2pm-12 midnight) to weld a variety of products in a team setting, following the Production schedule. The role emphasizes quality, safety, and on-time delivery as part of our automation product line.

The candidate may have a combination of education and experience; MIG welding experience is an asset, as is CWB certification. We value math skills, tool use, and a proactive safety mindset while offering a collaborative work

Qualifications

• Combination of education and experience will be considered; formal welding certs are assets but not required.
• 1-2 years of MIG welding experience would be an asset but not required.
• CWB Certification is beneficial.
• Strong math and spatial reasoning skills.
• Experience using hand and power tools.
• Basic literacy skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Weld all products according to weld drawings; comply with CWB standards.
• Monitor parts inventory in work areas to meet production needs.
• Achieve and maintain required productivity levels (efficiency and utilization).
• Adhere to all Safety and Health Standards.

The Opportunity:

Level up your career as a Welder on Afternoon Shift (Monday-Thursday 2pm-12 midnight)

Summary:

The welder is responsible for welding a variety of Vidir products within a team environment, according to the Production schedule.

Responsibilities:

• Weld all products according to weld drawings, compliant to CWB standards and regulations.
• Monitor parts inventory in respective areas of work and ensures parts are available to meet production requirements.
• Achieve and maintain required productivity levels (efficiency and utilization)
• Adhere to all Safety and Health Standards

Qualifications:

**A combination of education and experience will be considered.**

• Welding trades certification would be considered an asset but is not required.
• 1-2 years of Welding Experience (MIG) would be considered an asset but is not required
• CWB Certification
• Strong Math skills and spatial reasoning ability
• Use of hand/power tools
