Job summary

JobsMedia.io in Terrebonne, QC, is seeking a skilled welder/fabricator to join our manufacturing team. This permanent, full-time role involves interpreting welding specs, operating manual and automated welding systems, and fabricating or repairing metal parts on-site.

The ideal candidate has 3–4 years of welding experience, reads blueprints, and communicates in French. You will handle brazing, cutting, and finishing tasks with a focus on safety and quality in a busy shop environment.

Qualifications

• Trade diploma in welding or related field.
• 3–4 years welding experience.
• Ability to read welding blueprints and specifications.
• French language ability required.

Responsibilities

• Interpret welding process specifications.
• Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment.
• Read welding blueprints, drawings and processes.
• Examine welds to ensure they meet standards.
• Operate flame-cutting equipment (manual/semi-automatic).
• Fit, braze and torch-straighten metal as needed.
• Operate arc cutting equipment (arc-air).
• Operate hoisting and lifting equipment.
• Operate pre-set welding machines to fabricate/repair parts.
• Maintain and perform minor repairs on welding equipment.
