Tremcar, based in Quebec, is seeking a skilled welder to join the on-site fabrication team. You will interpret welding process specifications, read blueprints, and operate manual or automated welding systems to fabricate or repair metal parts.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, safety, and the ability to work with aluminum alloys and stainless steel in a manufacturing environment. On-site work with physical tasks and machine operation is required.

Responsibilities

• Interpret welding process specifications.
• Operate welding equipment (manual or semi-automatic, fully automated).
• Read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings, manuals and processes.
• Examine welds to ensure they meet standards and specifications.
• Operate brakes, shears and other metal shaping, straightening and bending machines.
• Determine weldability of materials.
• Operate hoisting and lifting equipment.
• Operate pre-set welding machines to fabricate or repair parts.
