Job summary

Overlanders Manufacturing in Abbotsford, BC is seeking a motivated Welder to perform MIG and TIG welding on sheet metal and fabricated components, reading blueprints and symbols, and maintaining quality and safety standards.

This role includes training on robotic welding equipment, with on-the-job instruction. The afternoon shift runs Monday to Thursday, 2:30pm–1:00am, with additional training shift available, offering opportunities to grow skills in a stable, ISO 9001 certified environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with MIG and TIG welding in a manufacturing, fabrication, or production environment.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and fabrication drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality workmanship.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with robotic welding is considered a strong asset.

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG and TIG welding on sheet metal and fabricated components according to drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
• Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and welding symbols to ensure accurate fabrication and assembly.
• Set up, operate, and maintain welding equipment safely and efficiently.
• Inspect completed welds for accuracy, strength, and appearance, making adjustments or repairs as required.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments to support fabrication and assembly processes.
• Collaborate with team members and production staff to meet quality standards and production deadlines.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in accordance with company policies and safety regulations.

We are seeking a motivated Welder to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will perform MIG and TIG welding on sheet metal and fabricated components, ensuring high standards of quality, safety, and productivity. • Wage: Depending on skill set and experience.
• Afternoon Shift: Monday to Thursday, 2:30pm to 1:00am.
