We are seeking a detail-oriented Powder Coater to join our team. In this role, you will prepare, coat, and inspect sheet metal components to ensure a consistent, high-quality finish. Your work will be essential in enhancing the appearance, protection, and overall quality of our finished products while supporting production goals in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Set up and operate powder coating equipment, spray guns, and curing ovens safely and efficiently.
  • Apply powder coatings to meet required specifications, quality standards, and production schedules.
  • Monitor coating thickness, coverage, and finish quality to ensure a consistent, high-quality product.
  • Inspect completed parts for defects and perform touch-ups or rework as required.
  • Load, unload, and move materials throughout the coating and curing process.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with safety and housekeeping standards.
  • Follow all workplace health and safety procedures, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of powder coating equipment and tools.
  • Read and interpret work orders, production schedules, and coating specifications.
  • Track material usage and report equipment issues, shortages, or quality concerns to supervisors.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and continuous improvement objectives.
Requirements & Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in powder coating, industrial painting, manufacturing, or a related production environment is considered an asset.
  • Knowledge of powder coating processes, equipment, and application techniques.
  • Ability to read and follow work orders, specifications, and production schedules.
  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Ability to identify coating defects and perform corrective actions when required.
  • Comfortable working with hand tools, spray equipment, and production machinery.
  • Physically capable of standing for extended periods and lifting up to 50 lbs (23 kg).
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while meeting production deadlines.
  • Strong understanding of workplace safety practices and the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Good communication and problem-solving skills.
Employment Details:
  • Starting Wage: Dependent on skills and experience.
  • Day Shift: Monday to Friday, 6am to 2:30pm.
