Overlanders Manufacturing, a leading precision sheet metal manufacturer in Abbotsford, BC, is seeking a motivated Welder to join our team. You will perform MIG and TIG welding on sheet metal and fabricated components, following drawings, specifications, and safety standards.

The role offers training on robotic welding equipment, opportunities to grow, and a collaborative, safety-conscious work environment. Applicants should have MIG/TIG welding experience; blueprints reading; capable of lifting;

Qualifications

• MIG and TIG welding experience in manufacturing or fabrication environments.
• Able to read blueprints, welding symbols, and fabrication drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced setting.
• Robotic welding experience is a strong asset.
• Physically capable of lifting, standing for extended periods, and performing repetitive tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG and TIG welding on sheet metal and fabricated components according to drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
• Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and welding symbols to ensure accurate fabrication and assembly.
• Set up, operate, and maintain welding equipment safely and efficiently.
• Inspect welds for accuracy, strength, and appearance, making adjustments or repairs as needed.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments to support fabrication processes.
• Collaborate with team members to meet quality standards and deadlines.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment per company policies and safety regulations.

We are seeking a motivated Welder to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will perform MIG and TIG welding on sheet metal and fabricated components, ensuring high standards of quality, safety, and productivity. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills, including training on robotic welding equipment.

Responsibilities:

• Perform MIG and TIG welding on sheet metal and fabricated components according to drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
• Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and welding symbols to ensure accurate fabrication and assembly.
• Set up, operate, and maintain welding equipment safely and efficiently.
• Inspect completed welds for accuracy, strength, and appearance, making adjustments or repairs as required.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments to support fabrication and assembly processes.
• Collaborate with team members and production staff to meet quality standards and production deadlines.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in accordance with company policies and safety regulations.

Opportunity to Grow:

• Opportunity to learn and operate robotic welding equipment through on-the-job training.
• Candidates with previous robotic welding experience are encouraged to apply, though experience is not required.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Experience with MIG and TIG welding in a manufacturing, fabrication, or production environment.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and fabrication drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality workmanship.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with robotic welding is considered a strong asset.
• Physically able to lift materials, stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive tasks.

Employment Details:

• Wage: Depending on skill set and experience.
• Afternoon Shift: Monday to Thursday, 2:30pm to 1:00am.
• Training Shift (Approx. 1 Month): Monday to Friday, 6:00am to 2:30pm.
