Job summary

Holiday Inn Yorkton is seeking a Weekend Room Attendant to maintain guest rooms and public spaces to the hotel's standards. Responsibilities include stocking supplies, making beds, cleaning, and ensuring privacy and safety for guests.

You should be physically capable, able to follow instructions, and possess good communication and organizational skills. Prior housekeeping or customer service experience may be an asset; legal entitlement to work in Canada is required.

Qualifications

• A secondary school diploma is preferred.
• Physical mobility and stamina, including bending, lifting, reaching.
• Ability to follow instructions and maintain a professional attitude.
• Ability to work independently.
• Good communication skills and customer service experience may be required.
• Good organizational skills.
• WHMIS knowledge is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Stock and sort supplies; vacuum, clean, and dust.
• Make beds, change sheets, remove and replace towels and toiletries.
• Deliver and retrieve items on loan to guests (e.g., iron and ironing boards).
• Ensure security and privacy of guest rooms.
• Perform rotation cleaning duties (e.g., carpet cleaning) as required.
