Job summary

The Home Inn & Suites by d3h- Yorkton is seeking two full-time housekeepers to join our cleaning team. You will maintain a high standard of cleanliness in guestrooms and common areas, manage your time, and provide excellent customer service.

Legal entitlement to work in Canada and ability to follow guidelines are required. Responsibilities include cleaning guest rooms and public areas, collaborating with teammates, maintaining safety, and ensuring rooms are ready to rent.

Qualifications

• Must be legally entitled to work in Canada.
• Able to follow operational guidelines.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Effective, positive communication with guests and co-workers.
• Ability to work weekends, if required.

Responsibilities

• The room attendant is responsible for cleaning and preparing guest rooms and public areas with the high standards established within the hotel system.
• Be a team player who can also work well independently.
• Maintain a safe and secure workplace for co-workers and guests.
• Consistently ensure rooms are ready to rent.
• Notify supervisor and/or maintenance of necessary repairs.
• Ability to maintain a professional appearance and interact positively with guests.
• Keep your work areas well-maintained and stocked.
• Must have basic English communication skills.

Your Availability

• Mornings, Afternoons, Weekdays, Weekends, Holidays
• Monday - Friday: 8:00 am - 4:30 pm
• Weekends: 9:0am - 5:30 pm
• You must be available for Saturdays and Sundays
