Job summary

Alterna Savings is seeking a Wealth Banker at our Scarborough branch to provide investment oriented financial advice and manage a growing member book. You will work closely with branch staff to deliver holistic planning and asset consolidation for members with complex needs.

You will use the Personal Investment Plan and other planning tools to tailor solutions, educate branch partners, and drive new client acquisition while maintaining high member satisfaction and compliance.

Qualifications

• Post secondary education combined with relevant experience in a financial institution.
• IFIC/CSC course completed with ability to be licensed immediately; CFP/PFP preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of financial advisory experience and demonstrated relationship building.

Responsibilities

• Proactively build partnerships with branch teams to introduce members/clients.
• Contact members using marketing lists, referrals, and calls to grow the book.
• Manage an assigned portfolio using advisory tools to meet investment needs.
