Job summary

Alterna Savings is seeking a Personal Banking Officer in Toronto to lead outbound member outreach, assess financial needs, and offer appropriate credit and investment solutions. You will build relationships, meet sales targets, and collaborate with partners to maximize referrals.

You will engage in proactive calling, up-sell referrals, and use Alterna’s tools to deliver tailored banking products while maintaining adherence to risk and regulatory guidelines.

Qualifications

• Post secondary education combined with 3 years related experience in a financial institution or equivalent
• Proven track record in sales
• As part of continuing education enrolled in Financial Planning or other similar programs
• Experience in providing investment and credit solutions
• Mutual Funds License

Responsibilities

• Contributes to growth and maintenance of the business and community portfolio
• Sources and analyzes product requests from multiple sources including accounts and not-for-profit entities
• Manages Alterna’s business relationships including commercial accounts and not-for-profits
• Meet sales targets by delivering products and services that meet member needs
• Proactively promote/sell a full range of banking products and services
• Follow sales and service model in branch meetings and campaigns
