Scotiabank is offering a Wealth Management Data Analytics Internship-Co-op for Winter 2027 in Toronto, Ontario. This paid term runs January to April 2027 and provides hands-on experience in business analysis, data transformation, and reporting.

You will work with cross-functional teams to define requirements, build dashboards (PowerBI/Tableau), and perform statistical analyses, while developing communication and project-management skills in a collaborative, inclusive environment.

Be involved in the definition of business requirements and processes, ensuring that progress can be measured against plannedobjectivesby working with different teams, and internal partners; performing analysis and completing reports to measure project success and impact to business.

Prepare reports and dashboards to inform strategic decision-makingincluding trendinganalysis, projections and forecastsutilizingstatistical modelling.

Investigate and become an expert in available data sources of data,transformanddeterminehow they can be interpreted for analysis.

Apply analytical skills byidentifyingand analyzing business and technical requirements to create diagrams, flow charts, and documentation.

Make an impact by constantlyidentifyingand implementing process improvements.

You are currently enrolled in post-secondary education.

You have strong written/verbal communication and project management skills.

You have knowledge/experience in:

Managingprocessand planning,facilitatingteamwork, and coordinating the execution of multiple deliverables.

Interpreting andconsolidatinglarge amountsof information into actionable recommendations.

Using sound judgment in the creation of analysis, validation, interpretation, and presentation of findings.

Cleaning,transformingand visualizing large data sets working with various data formats (e.g., Enterprise Data Warehouse, Unstructured logs, XML, JSON, flat files, SAS, CSV).

Visualization tools likePowerBI,TableauorQlikview.

Data Analysis/manipulation tools for working with data (e.g., SQL, DB2, MySQL, Python, R).

Making sense of data, creating reports, and communicating KPI’s.
