Job summary

BMO Financial Group in Waterloo is seeking a motivated team member to support Investment Advisors and branch operations, handling client requests, scheduling, and daily administration while delivering exceptional service.

You will assist with client meetings, maintain client databases, and help with investment needs under guidance, contributing to a positive client experience and successful relationship management.

Qualifications

• Typically 1–2 years of relevant experience and post-secondary degree in related field desirable.
• Knowledge of wealth management company and branch operations is an asset.
• Knowledge of traditional and non-traditional investment products is an asset.
• Familiarity with technology applications used in financial planning and investment industry.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates marketing activities for the advisory team, including website and client events.
• Assists advisory team in preparing for client meetings and scheduling appointments.
• Handles clients’ day-to-day requests and inquiries including basic money movement and account updates.
• Generates reports and maintains client databases and files.
• Ensures tasks are assigned and completed; provides tech support and policy guidance to the team.
• Gathers information on updates to training, guidelines, and systems for the team.
• Develops rapport with clients to promote positive experiences and retain relationships.
• Assists with managing a portfolio of clients to retain and grow relationships.
