Job summary

ScotiaMcLeod, part of Scotia Wealth Management, seeks an Assistant Branch Manager to join the Toronto branch leadership team. You will help drive client service excellence, support Advisor groups, and ensure efficient operations aligned with the Total Wealth Strategy.

You will coach staff, manage performance, and collaborate with Wealth Specialists and Bank partners to deliver holistic advice while maintaining regulatory standards and a performance-driven culture.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in the investment industry (Wealth Management/Financial Services).
• CIRO Registered Representative (RR) license required.
• CIRO Supervisor License is an asset.
• Coaching mindset with experience communicating a business strategy.
• Strong problem solving and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Take a lead role in supporting Advisor teams and solving day to day issues.
• Assist the Branch Manager in the continued implementation and adoption of our Total Wealth Strategy.
• Provide on-going coaching with employee development, performance management and motivation.
• Collaborate with Wealth Specialists and Bank partners in delivering thoughtful, holistic advice leading to the best possible outcome for our clients.
• Maintain regulatory requirements and organizational standards.
• Build and create a high performance environment in which your team pursues effective and efficient operations.
• Foster an inclusive work environment using a coaching mindset and behaviours.
