Job summary

Scotia Wealth Management seeks an Assistant Branch Manager to join the Branch Leadership team. You will support Advisor teams, drive day‑to‑day issue resolution, and help ensure high levels of client service through efficient operations.

You will coach staff, support the Total Wealth Strategy adoption, and collaborate with Wealth Specialists and Bank partners to deliver holistic advice. Regulatory compliance and a high‑performance culture are core to the role.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in the investment industry (wealth management/financial services).
• Registered Representative License.
• CIRO Supervisor License.
• Process‑oriented person and effective communicator.
• Previous management experience is considered an asset.
• Strong problem‑solving and interpersonal skills.
• A coach's mindset.

Responsibilities

• Take a lead role in supporting Advisor teams and solving day‑to‑day issues.
• Assist the Branch Manager(s) in the continued implementation and adoption of our Total Wealth Strategy.
• Provide on‑going coaching with employee development, performance management and motivation.

• Maintain regulatory requirements and organizational standards.
• Build and create a high‑performance environment in which your team pursues effective and efficient operations.
