Job summary

Canada Life is seeking an Investment Planning Counsel (IPC) to deliver personalized wealth management solutions and help clients work toward long-term financial goals. The role focuses on developing and deepening client relationships through regular meetings and calls.

Located in Edmonton, Calgary, or Regina, the position offers a competitive base salary ($56,900–$99,700 CAD) with additional compensation opportunities and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in Business and/or 3-5 years of industry experience
• Completion of CSC/IFIC required
• Mutual Fund Dealer licensed / IIROC
• Professional accreditation (CFP, CIM, or equivalent) is considered an asset
• Ability to think critically and use sound judgment when serving clients
• Strong desire for performance-driven compensation
• A self-motivated, highly driven and entrepreneurial personality
• A Criminal Record and Credit background check is mandatory as a condition of employment
• This role requires a FSRA approved credential for holding out as a financial advisor

Given the size and scope of our organization, we have the flexibility for this position to be located in the following head office locations: Edmonton, Calgary, Regina.

The base salary for this position is between $56,900 - $99,700 annually. This represents base salary only and does not represent other variable compensation components of our total compensation ( i.e. annual bonus, commission etc).
