Job summary

Canada Life, through Investment Planning Counsel (IPC), seeks an experienced Investment Planning Counsel to deliver personalized wealth management solutions and deepen client relationships. The role is permanent full-time and can be located in Edmonton, Calgary, or Regina, with base salary between $56,900 and $99,700 per year plus additional incentive opportunities.

You will conduct regular meetings with clients, educate on IPC products and services, and leverage technology to enhance the client

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in Business and/or 3-5 years of industry experience.
• Completion of CSC/IFIC required.
• Mutual Fund Dealer licensed / IIROC.
• Professional accreditation (CFP, CIM, or equivalent) is considered an asset.
• Ability to think critically and use sound judgment when serving clients.
• Strong desire for performance-driven compensation.
• A self-motivated, highly driven and entrepreneurial personality.
• A Criminal Record and Credit background check is mandatory as a condition of employment.
• This role requires a FSRA approved credential for holding out as a financial advisor.

Given the size and scope of our organization, we have the flexibility for this position to be located in the following head office locations: Edmonton, Calgary, Regina.

The base salary for this position is between $56,900 - $99,700 annually. This represents base salary only and does not represent other variable compensation components of our total compensation ( i.e. annual bonus, commission etc).
