Job summary

Canada Life’s Investment Planning Counsel (IPC) is a leading independent wealth management firm that became part of Canada Life in 2023, creating one of Canada’s leading wealth providers. The base salary for this role ranges from CAD 56,900 to 99,700 annually, with potential for additional bonuses and compensation components.

The position can be located in Edmonton, Calgary, or Regina, reflecting the organization's flexible regional footprint.

Qualifications

  • Post-secondary education in Business and/or 3-5 years of industry experience
  • Completion of CSC/IFIC required
  • Mutual Fund Dealer licensed / IIROC
  • Professional accreditation (CFP, CIM, or equivalent) is considered an asset
  • Ability to think critically and use sound judgment when serving clients
  • Strong desire for performance-driven compensation
  • A self-motivated, highly driven and entrepreneurial personality
  • A Criminal Record and Credit background check is mandatory as a condition of employment
  • This role requires a FSRA approved credential for holding out as a financial advisor

What you will do:

Given the size and scope of our organization, we have the flexibility for this position to be located in the following head office locations: Edmonton, Calgary, Regina.

The base salary for this position is between $56,900 - $99,700 annually. This represents base salary only and does not represent other variable compensation components of our total compensation ( i.e. annual bonus, commission etc). If you are selected to move forward in our recruitment process, your recruiter will be able to discuss additional details of our total rewards program with you.
