Job summary

ABL Employment Inc. is seeking a Waterjet Machine Operator in Surrey, BC. The role involves setting up CNC waterjet cutting machines to cut various materials, interpreting work orders, loading materials with cranes or forklifts, and coordinating with maintenance for any issues.

A strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs are required. English fluency is essential, with prior CNC/waterjet experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English, verbal and written.
• Previous experience operating CNC machinery, waterjet equipment, or similar manufacturing equipment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting abilities.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Set up CNC waterjet cutting machines to cut metal, stainless steel, aluminum, glass, stone.
• Interpret work orders to determine cutting requirements.
• Load materials onto cutting tables using overhead cranes, forklifts, or other material handling equipment.
• Troubleshoot operational issues and coordinate repairs with maintenance personnel when necessary.

Pay rate:

• $25 to $27/hour
• Weekly pay every Friday

Shift:

• Monday to Friday from 7am to 3pm
• Overtime opportunities are available

Duties include:
