Job summary

Envirosearch Operations is seeking a Water/Wastewater Operator to maintain treatment plants, collection, and distribution systems across Ontario. You will contribute to safe water delivery and ensure effluent quality meets regulatory requirements while supporting 24/7 emergency response duties.

The role requires MECP licenses (or training), a valid G driver’s license, and mechanical aptitude. Travel along the 401 corridor is expected between Mallorytown and the Quebec border, with full-time

Qualifications

MECP licenses required or in training; OIT certificates for water and wastewater.
Level 1 Water Treatment License or higher preferred.
Level 1 Wastewater Treatment License preferred.
Valid G driver’s license and own vehicle required

Responsibilities

Monitor treatment processes including screening, aeration, clarification, disinfection, and lagoon systems.
Sample water and wastewater and perform onsite process analysis.
Perform dosing calculations, set dosing rates and monitor to ensure correct dosing.
Inspect, service and repair components of treatment plants and control systems.
Assist in preventative maintenance programs and supervise subcontractors.
Complete logs and work orders using electronic systems; communicate site condition changes.
Demonstrate safety awareness, identify hazards, and select appropriate PPE.
Respond to emergency calls and be available during duty periods.
Contribute to Quality Control and Quality Assurance goals.
