Job summary

Aecon Water is seeking a passionate Project Manager to execute complex projects across the US. The successful candidate will manage projects in the field, lead project teams, and ensure safety, schedule, and budget are met.

The role requires mobility to project sites across Canada and potentially the US, with travel as a core expectation. The ideal candidate has 10 years of construction experience, a background in Water or Heavy Industrial works, and familiarity with BIM.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of construction experience.
• Experience delivering Water or Heavy Industrial projects is required.
• Strong network of tradespeople, subcontractors, suppliers and engineers is essential.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all project management activities are successfully executed.
• Lead transition from estimating to project execution.
• Attract, build and mentor project teams; promote a safe work environment.
• Develop project goals to meet owner deliverables and align with Aecon initiatives.
• Oversee procurement of subcontractors and major equipment; negotiate contracts.
