Job summary

Maple Reinders Constructors in Burnaby, BC is seeking an experienced Project Manager for water and wastewater construction. You will act as the Owner/Client's representative, lead a team of estimators, superintendents, and coordinators, and ensure project delivery on time, within budget and to high quality standards.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years PM experience in civil/construction, a Civil Engineering degree or equivalent, and professional designation such as P.Eng or Gold Seal.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Project Manager in the construction industry with a general contractor.
• Experience in Water/Wastewater, Energy projects, and civil infrastructure construction.
• University Degree/Technology Diploma in Civil Engineering, or a combination of education and industry experience.
• Professional Designation preferred - P.Eng and/or Gold Seal.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with clients, consultants, architects, sub-contractors and other project stakeholders.
• Manage the project using Maple Reinders’ processes to deliver high-quality results on schedule and within budget.
• Mentor Project Coordinators and guide career progression within the team.
• Support BD and Construction Manager in scheduling and submissions during pursuit phases.
• Negotiate contracts, manage budgets and cost projections, and handle change orders across trades.
• Oversee submittals, shop drawings, QA/QC, payments, and project administration.
