Job summary

TYLin is seeking a Process Engineer - Water/Wastewater to join its Water Sector. You will design municipal servicing systems, including water/wastewater treatment, and grow skills in client interfacing and project management.

You should have a P.Eng and 5-7 years of wastewater experience; mentoring junior staff is expected as part of project delivery and capability building. Toronto-area opportunities may arise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Civil engineering.
• P.Eng licensure with P.E.O.
• 5-7 years of experience in wastewater infrastructure projects.
• Experience with Master Planning, Class EAs and DWWP and/or ECA process in Ontario or equivalents.
• Contract administration experience is an asset.
• Client-focused with integrity and innovation.
• Collaborative experience in a diverse team.

Responsibilities

• Undertake the design of municipal servicing projects including engineering drawings and reports.
• Coordinate design with municipal and utility agencies and obtain approvals.
• Liaise with clients to secure approvals and manage project scope and budget.
• Prepare construction documents and participate in construction inspection.
• Provide services during construction including submittal reviews and IFC clarifications.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to proposals.
