Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum EOCP Level 1 Water Treatment and/or Wastewater Treatment certification with local government experience.
• Experience operating water and/or wastewater treatment, distribution and collection systems.
• Experience with confined spaces and computer-controlled monitoring systems (SCADA).

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain the City’s water treatment, distribution, wastewater treatment and collections systems.
• Perform duties to meet or exceed compliance criteria in Operating Permits and relevant legislation.
• Report to the Head Treatment Plant Operator on operations and maintenance activities.
