Job summary

SRG is seeking experienced Water Truck Operators to support winter construction projects in Northern Alberta. The role involves frost road and utility construction, operating water trucks, and working outdoors in varying winter conditions.

Responsibilities include vehicle inspections, maintaining access routes, transporting water, and following site safety procedures. Camp accommodations and fly-in/fly-out options are available.

Qualifications

• Previous experience operating a Water Truck in construction, oilfield, or industrial environments.
• Valid Class 3 license with air brake (Q) endorsement and a clean driver’s abstract.
• Experience with frost road construction or winter access is an asset.
• Experience working in remote or winter construction environments is an asset.
• Must be eligible to work in Canada and pass a pre-employment drug test.

• Operate water trucks safely and efficiently to support winter construction activities.
• Support the construction and maintenance of frost roads and winter access routes.
• Assist with freezing and maintaining roads, access routes, and work areas as required.
• Transport and distribute water as required throughout the worksite.
• Complete daily equipment inspections and report any mechanical issues or maintenance requirements.
• Assist with general site duties when required.
• Follow direction from supervisors to support safe and efficient project operations.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Follow all site safety procedures, policies, and requirements.
• Perform other duties as required to support the project and crew.
