Job summary

SITE Resource Group Limited Partnership (SRG) is seeking experienced Heavy Equipment Operators to support winter access construction projects in Northern Alberta. Operators will build and maintain winter access, clear work areas, and create safe roads for drilling operations.

Candidates should have winter construction experience, muskeg terrain work, and Snowcat operation is a plus. Must be able to work outdoors in cold conditions, pass drug testing, and be eligible to work in Canada.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Heavy Equipment Operator in winter construction or remote access projects.
• Winter access construction experience is required.
• Experience working on muskeg and challenging winter terrain.
• Snowcat experience is considered an asset.
• Must pass pre-employment drug and alcohol test, including cannabis.
• Must be eligible to work in Canada.
• Ability to work outdoors in winter conditions and adapt to changing weather and site conditions.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently to support winter access and remote camp construction.
• Clear and prepare access roads, camp areas, pads, and other designated work areas.
• Build and maintain winter access roads and routes through muskeg and other challenging terrain.
• Assist with freezing in access roads, pads, and drilling areas to establish safe and stable winter work surfaces.
• Operate equipment in remote and winter conditions while maintaining awareness of changing ground and weather conditions.
• Complete daily equipment inspections and report any mechanical issues or maintenance requirements.
• Work closely with supervisors and other site personnel to complete work according to project requirements and schedules.
• Follow all site safety procedures, environmental requirements, and operational instructions.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Perform other duties as required to support the project.
