Ground Effects is seeking a highly motivated and hardworking individual to fill the role of Field Technician for an innovative and industry leading organization. In this role, you will be an integral member of the Field Service team providing technical services in the installation, maintenance, design, operation, and optimization of custom environmental remediation, solids control and wastewater treatment equipment.

Skills & Qualifications:
-Must have a strong mechanical skills
-Previous oilfield, mining or industrial experience would be an asset
-A diploma in Civil or Environmental Technology, Millwright; or equivalent experience would be an asset
-Motivated self-starter with the ability to work independently or as a part of a team
-Proven ability to make sound independent judgments and decisions
-Basic computer skills
-Ability to adapt to multiple projects
-Strong communication skills both written and oral
-Current First Aid/CPR & H2S safety tickets preferred
-Mandatory Drug & Alcohol Testing as Client Sites require
-Valid drivers license with clean drivers abstract (1A an asset)
-Must be physically fit to lift and/or move up to 50lbs
-Ability and willingness to work varying hours and work in varying weather conditions
-Overtime required, including weekends and for extended/varying periods of time
