Job summary

The City of Victoria BC is seeking a Water Resources Engineer to lead planning and delivery of water, stormwater and wastewater projects. Reporting to the Underground Utilities Manager, you will oversee a technical team and drive asset management and capital programs to support resilient city infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Applied Science in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• P.Eng. with Engineers and Geoscientists BC (EGBC) membership.
• Minimum 4 years of related experience following professional registration.

Responsibilities

• Leads a technical team in the design and delivery of water, stormwater and wastewater projects.
• Oversees asset management programs, capital projects and master plans.
• Provides SME guidance to internal/external stakeholders and ensures project delivery.
• Prepares schedules, reports and procurement documentation for complex projects.
