AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Water Resources Engineer in Toronto, Ontario, to join our Municipal Infrastructure team within Engineering Services. The role is 100% in-office in Toronto and supports planning for waste, water resilience, and sustainability across major airport projects.

The candidate should have at least 5 years in environment or sustainable design, with strong ESG knowledge and experience in large programs. PE/CEM/LEED/AP ENV SP certifications are favorable.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in environment, energy, or sustainable design.
• Experience delivering sustainability outcomes in infrastructure; large programs is a plus.
• Holistic understanding of sustainability and Net Zero incl. decarbonization.
• Familiarity with ESG and climate accounting standards.
• Experience in sustainable resource management and circular economy.
• Strong analytical skills using data analytics.

Responsabilités

• Supports planning for waste, including terminal, outbuildings, construction, circular construction, and waste management.
• Supports planning for water resilience programs: stormwater, water conservation, and water quality.
• Ensures proper handling, recycling, disposal, and removal of waste materials at construction sites.
• Design considers self-sustaining circular ecosystems and water harvesting for irrigation and stormwater.
• Coordinates with SR&C and external stakeholders on sustainability strategy.
