Placements24 is seeking a Water Resources Civil Engineer for an on-site role in Kimberley to lead the design and management of water infrastructure, including water supply, wastewater, and stormwater systems. You will perform hydrological analyses and ensure compliance with local regulations.

The ideal candidate has a Civil Engineering degree with a water resources focus and 6+ years of experience, with PE/Pr. Eng. registration highly desirable. Proficiency in EPANET/HEC-RAS and CAD is expected.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with a specialization in Water Resources or Environmental Engineering.
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in water resources engineering.
  • Proficiency in hydraulic modeling software (EPANET, HEC-RAS) and CAD software.
  • Experience with water quality analysis and treatment technologies.
  • Strong understanding of South African water resource management policies and regulations.

About the Role

Our client is seeking a dedicated Water Resources Civil Engineer to join their specialist team in Kimberley . This role focuses on the sustainable management and design of water-related infrastructure, including water supply systems, wastewater treatment, stormwater management, and flood control. You will play a key role in developing innovative solutions for water challenges, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and community needs. This on-site position allows for direct engagement with project sites and stakeholders, contributing critical expertise to water infrastructure development in the Northern Cape region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and oversee the implementation of water supply, distribution, and treatment systems.
  • Develop and manage wastewater collection and treatment solutions.
