Job summary

GEI Consultants, Inc. seeks a Water Resources Analyst with approximately 3–5 years of experience to join our Land Development Infrastructure team in Ontario.

You will contribute to a diverse portfolio of projects, from residential developments to municipal infrastructure, collaborating with engineers, designers, and project managers while taking increasing ownership of technical delivery, analysis, and client support.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in water resources engineering or related discipline.
  • Approximately 3 to 5 years of relevant consulting or design experience.
  • Registered or working toward P.Eng. designation.
  • Proficiency with Visual OTTHYMO, HEC-RAS, PCSWMM, AutoCAD/Civil 3D, and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong technical writing and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines.
  • Demonstrated commitment to quality, safety, and continuous learning.

Responsibilities

  • Support the planning and delivery of water resources components for land development projects.
  • Develop, run, and interpret hydrologic and hydraulic models.
  • Complete stormwater management, drainage, and floodplain assessments.
  • Assist in conceptual, preliminary, and detailed design of water resources infrastructure.
  • Prepare technical reports, design briefs, memos, drawings, and specifications.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, municipalities, and approval agencies.
  • Provide support during permitting, tendering, and construction stages as required.

Job Summary

GEI is seeking a motivated Water Resources Analyst with approximately 3–5 years of experience to join our Land Development Infrastructure team in Ontario. In this role, you will contribute to a diverse portfolio of projects ranging from residential and commercial developments to municipal infrastructure assignments.
