Aquatech Canadian Water Services in Calgary is seeking a WasteWater Operator/Superintendent level I (level II preferred) to manage daily WWTP operations and maintenance on an industrial site. The role reports to the area Operations Manager and involves regulating monitoring, reporting, and hands-on technical tasks.

Qualified candidates hold a WWTP Level I certification with the potential for Level II, and must be capable of lifting 25 kg and working both independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Current WWTP Level I min (proof of certification)
• Level II certification preferred
• Ability to lift 25 kg (55 lb)
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

• Carry out the daily operation and maintenance of the WWTP and document regulatory monitoring.
• Provide operational support and troubleshooting for plant operations.
• Maintain inventory of critical spare parts, chemicals, and consumables.
• Create maintenance requests and track work orders.
• Complete daily inspections, monitoring and sampling data.
• Perform laboratory analyses and reporting.
• Prepare weekly, monthly and annual reports as required.
• Provide training and mentorship to plant staff.
• Participate in meetings and health & safety programs.
