Responsibilities

• Greet the public depositing refuse and explain landfill rules.
• Operate the weight scale, enter data, determine tipping fees, issue receipts.
• Balance cash receipts, prepare a sales summary and bank deposit.
• Direct the public to disposal locations and screen loads for prohibited materials.
• Monitor recycling and refuse bins and arrange for emptying as needed.
• Perform routine maintenance and housekeeping of facilities and area.
