Job summary

The County of Simcoe is seeking a Waste Auditor/Municipal By-Law Enforcement to conduct inspections, enforce by-laws, and participate in waste audits. The role involves data management, on-site inspections, and interaction with residents to address issues related to waste collection services.

Qualifications

• College diploma or University degree in Waste Management, Environmental and/or Law and Security.
• Strong operational knowledge of waste management practices (solid waste, organics, recycling).
• Knowledge of the County's Waste Management By-law and OHSA.

Responsibilities

• Conduct on-road contract supervision of waste, recycling, organics and special collections.
• Audit county waste materials and ensure contract requirements.
• Interact with residents and stakeholders; respond to concerns and investigations.
• Prepare reports and compile statistical information.
