Job description

This role is an all-encompassing warehouse position where candidates will engage in various tasks such as picking and packing, shipping, and general material handling. Flexibility and a willingness to assist in different areas are essential. The ideal candidate can handle tasks such as palletizing and lifting heavier items.

Responsibilities

• Perform automated and manual picking and packing of materials.
• Handle shipping and receiving duties effectively.
• Engage in activities that require standing, walking, lifting, bending, and pushing carts throughout the shift.
• Lift boxes weighing up to 30 pounds.
• Use computers for data entry and manage shipping / receiving tasks.
• Perform basic math operations for counting products, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
• Operate an RF scanner.
• Experience using an RF scanner.
• A minimum of 6 months of warehouse experience.
• Ability to lift 35 lbs non-repetitively.
• Capability to stand and move for 8 hours.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate warehouse experience clearly.
• Basic computer skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with bending, lifting, crouching throughout the day.
• RF scanner experience is beneficial.
• Shipping experience is considered an asset.

This is a Contract position based out of Richmond, British Columbia.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.50 - $18.50 / hr.
