Job summary

Loblaw is seeking an assembler to independently pick and prepare pallets for Loblaw stores in a fast-paced, unionized environment. You will wrap orders and ensure shipping readiness with strict safety and HACCP adherence.

Ideal candidates are willing to work up to 40 hours weekly, can lift heavy loads, and operate an electric pallet jack in a temperature-controlled setting while following voice-guided directions.

Qualifications

• Availability to work up to 40 hours per week.
• Able to lift and carry up to 60–80 lbs repeatedly.
• Comfortable working in a temperature-controlled environment (+5 to -28 °C).
• Capable of working around heavy machinery and using an electric pallet jack.
• Ability to take direction from a voice-automated system.

Responsibilities

• Accurately assemble pallets of product for inventory requests from Loblaw stores.
• Wrap orders and prepare them for shipping.
• Adhere to Occupational Health and Safety Act and HACCP Food Handling practices; inspect/report unsafe conditions to supervisor.

• Accurately assemble pallets of product for inventory requests made by Loblaw stores
• Wrap orders and prepare them for shipping
• Use strong attention to detail to comply with the Occupational Health and Safety Act, adhere to the HACCP Food Handling practices, and inspect and report any unsafe vehicles or conditions to your Supervisor
