Job summary

Hilti Canada is seeking a Warehouse Worker in Mississauga to play a hands-on role ensuring the right products reach the right place at the right time. You will support sales and customer service by coordinating with the distribution team across receiving, warehousing, and order fulfillment, while driving efficiency through Lean principles.

This role emphasizes safety, accuracy, teamwork and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred.
  • PC literate; proficient in Microsoft Office and Excel.
  • Reach Truck Operator experience is required.
  • Excellent attention to detail and good math skills.
  • Ability to work in a team and maintain self-responsibility.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and ship outbound parcels and receive inbound product.
  • Review ERP transactions to maintain functional expertise.
  • Contribute to team goals and meet performance targets.
  • Maintain a safe, clean work environment and organize pallet areas.
  • Prepare Hazmat paperwork and Bills of Lading.
  • Maintain inventory control with cycle counts and proper equipment.
  • Support quality service and perform other assigned duties.

Job description

As a Warehouse Worker, you'll play a hands-on role ensuring the right products get to the right place at the right time - helping our customers build the future. You'll support sales and customer service by partnering with our distribution team across receiving, warehousing, and order fulfillment, while driving efficiency through Lean principles.

What You'll Do
  • Responsible for the preparation and shipping of outbound parcels and receipt of inbound product.
  • Maintain functional expertise by reviewing and retaining task related ERP system transactions.
  • Contribute to team goals by accomplishing tasks while meeting key performance targets.
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment by keeping pallet areas, racks, shelves, aisles, and workstations neat and orderly.
  • Prepare Hazmat paperwork for related shipments (UPS / FEDEX / LTL).
  • Prepare Bills of Lading.
  • Maintain inventory control by utilizing appropriate equipment and performing cycle counts.
  • Maintain quality service by following organizational standards.
  • Other duties as assigned.
What You'll Bring

  • High School Diploma or GED, preferred.

  • Power equipment skills (forklift, pallet jack, reach truck).
  • Effective oral communication skills.

The salary range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skills sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate is for this particular job posting. Please be advised that a different location may result in a different range. At Hilti, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.

A reasonable estimate of the current range is $23/hr-$24/hr
