Job description

What's the role?

The Warehouse Worker is responsible for providing superior sales support and customer service by working with the distribution team through the receiving, warehousing, and order fulfillment functions, as well as supporting organizational Lean objectives.

What does the role involve?

• Preparing and shipping outbound parcels and receiving inbound products.
• Maintaining functional expertise by reviewing and retaining task-related Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system transactions.
• Contributing to team goals by accomplishing tasks and meeting key performance targets.
• Maintaining a safe and clean work environment by keeping pallet areas, racks, shelves, aisles, and workstations neat and organized.
• Preparing Hazmat paperwork for shipments (UPS / FEDEX / LTL).
• Preparing Bills of Lading.
• Maintaining inventory control through equipment utilization and cycle counts.
• Ensuring quality service by adhering to organizational standards.
• Performing other duties as assigned.

What you need is:

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel; PC literate.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Good math skills.
• Power equipment skills (forklift, pallet jack).
• Effective oral communication skills.
• A work environment that values input and suggestions to drive positive change.
• Ability to work in a team and maintain self-responsibility.
