Job summary

Allegion in Canada is seeking a Warehouse Worker to support distribution operations with a safety-minded approach. You will assist with receiving, picking, packing and shipping, while maintaining accuracy and clean work areas.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and flexibility to work weekends. Competitive base salary in the CAD range, with a 5% bonus, overtime eligibility, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Experience with RF scanning is preferred.
• Ability to operate basic warehouse equipment as needed.
• Demonstrated safety mindset and physical stamina.
• Weekend availability and shift flexibility are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with receiving, order picking, packing and shipping.
• Pick via RF scanners with orders from rack pick slots.
• Support inventory counting and general housekeeping within the warehouse.
• Pack orders on conveyor belts and label packed orders.
• Use wrap machine and labeling of packed/wrapped orders.
• Contribute to safe and efficient warehouse operations.

The Warehouse Worker will be responsible for assisting in the distribution area with picking, packing, shipping and receiving with a safety mindset.

What You Will Do

• Help with warehouse functions such as receiving, order picking, packing and shipping.
• Pick via RF scanners with orders from rack pick slots
• Other duties include assistance with inventory counting and general housekeeping within the warehouse
• Pack orders on conveyor belts
• Use wrap machine and labeling of packed/wrapped orders

Shift Time: 7:00am to 3:30pm

What You Will Need

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent experience required
• License to operate Order picker, Raymond reach trucks Narrow Aisle, pallet jacks and powered walkies preferred
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs by hand and mandatory to operate manual equipment
• Ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, twist and crouch for long periods of time
• Ability to work weekends and have shift flexibility to meet the demands of the business

Compensation

Compensation: This range is provided by Allegion. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience.

• The expected Base Salary Range: $45,000-$65,000. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.

• Overtime Eligible: Yes
