Job summary

Pepco Corp is seeking a Warehouse Technician for a temporary full-time contract in Timmins, Ontario. The role includes receiving, storing, assembling orders, inventory, shipping, and occasional local deliveries by van.

Work is 40 hours per week, with a schedule from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, and the position requires staying safe and compliant on site. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year in a warehouse setting, a valid Class G license with a clean driving record, and comfort using Microsoft

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Job description

Warehouse Technician -Temporary contract

Temporary Full-Time Contract (until November 2026)

40 hrs/week

Hourly rate: $26.24

Role: The Warehouse Technician is responsible for handlingall products in the warehouse, by receiving, storing, assembling orders, completing inventory, shipping, and occasionally making local deliveries by driving a Transit Van. Additional duties include responding to requests from the sales team, monitoring warehouse equipment for safety, and regular housekeeping to ensure cleanliness, safety inside and outside.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Shipping, Receiving and Delivery

Receive,store, pick, pack, and ship products accurately while maintaining inventoryrecords and preparing customer orders for delivery. Safely operate warehouse equipment, assist with local deliveries, provide excellent customer service, and collaborate with internal teams to support efficient warehouse operations.

Inventory Management

Conduct regular inventory counts, maintain accurate inventory records, enter data into the Inventory Management System, and report inventory discrepancies for investigation and resolution.

SafetyCompliance and Housekeeping

Maintain a safe, clean, and organized warehouse environment by conducting daily equipment inspections, performing housekeeping duties, keeping walkways and entrances clear, and adhering to all safety procedures and personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements.

IDEAL CANDIDATE
  • Location: Mustlive in Timmins, Ontario,or nearby areas. In-person/ onsite position only; no possibility ofworking from home or hybrid.
  • Typical schedule : 8:00 am- 5:00 pm Mondayto Friday, 40 hours per week. Occasional overtime required.
  • Travel requirements : 80% of time spent in the warehouse with 20% completing localdeliveries. This breakdown may be subject to change depending on seasonaland customer priorities.
  • Education: HighSchool Diploma or equivalent required.
  • License and Certification: Valid Class G license and clean driver’sabstract required.
  • Physical Requirements: Must have the physical capabilities and strength for lifting andcarrying up to 50 lbs., along with the ability to operate equipment duringloading and unloading. Requires endurance to remain standing andwalk for extended periods.
  • Experience: Minimum of 1 year experience working in anindustrial or warehouse setting.
  • Technology: Experiencewith Microsoft 365 applications and the use of a smart phone to conductbasic administrative tasks.
  • Additional abilities: Clearcommunicator, both verbal and written. Working proficiency in basic mathematics(addition, subtraction, multiplication).
