You will be responsible for planning, leading, organizing and controlling of warehousing to ensure efficientinventory and warehouse management and cost-effective delivery of shipment volume objectives. You will be planning,leading, organizing and controlling the plant’s Dispensary operations for raw & packaging material to provideconsistent quality ingredients to production in an efficient and cost-effective manner.
How you will contribute
You will:
- Be accountable for the Warehouse Operations Plan, Coordinate & Manage Receipt/ Issue/ Disposal ofraw/packaging materials and finished good inventories in accordance with Company policies andprocedures. Deliver Inventory accuracy objectives and ensure Operational requirements areconsistently applied while complying to all boundaries & requirements on a regular basis. Provide appropriate and properly maintainedMaterials handling/ movement equipment and facility to ensure safe and efficient operations. Achieve AM-Autonomous maintenance and PM-Progressive maintenance Step completion goals for warehouseequipment & SGA teams to eliminate losses & downtime.
- Lead optimum utilization of Warehouse space; conduct warehouse capacity plan review on a regular basis.Ensure storage and handling of all materials and finished goods adheres to standard palletizing, stackingand storage requirements. Manage and control the replenishment of stock at Distributor’s warehouses,analysis of inventory movements, to ensure inventory level in the supply chain is at manageable level, andno run or overstock situation and product freshness in the trade. Develop & implement overhead budgetsto define cost boundaries for an efficient warehouse operation. Ensure cost targets are met via efficientutilization of equipment, workforce and utilities. Monitor and control materials wastage and variance togenerate productivity savings.
- Be accountable for strong governance & compliance requirements (warehouse audits, ISO, FSSC, Qualitymanagement system audits etc.) to be in place, Be a champion to meet and/or exceed Safety & Qualityrequirements and driving ownership among teams.
- Be Accountable for Talent, Capabilities & Engagementfor the team and responsible for identifying and implementing critical levers to attract, retain & develop criticaltalent and build capability at all levels, technical and behavioral, to build a sustainable workforce profilefor the future.Interface with key stakeholders internally & externally to develop and maintain effectiverelationships, Align priorities in order to deliver the company objectives and goals and maintain 100%compliance to standards, policies and local legal laws.
