This position helps to lead the warehouse team by ensuring tasks are done in a timely manner, compliance to company policy and procedures and ensuring there is effective communication between departments.

Lead:
-Employee development, staff of approx. 15
-Direct staff to ensure timely processing of warehouse activities
-Ensure compliance to corporate and departmental policy and procedures
-Ensure timely production and delivery requirements
-Ensure the efficient and cost effective use of delivery contractor services
-Ensure safe working conditions
-Actively communicate with various departments
-Identify and action opportunities for improvement
-Complete all required paperwork
-Requirement to work weekends and evenings
Packer:
-Pack medical supply orders with the proper packing supplies
-Record and report damaged items
-Maintain inventory records
-Record and report internal use items
-Complete all required paperwork
-Perform general cleaning dutie
Dispatch:
-Assign daily delivery of parcels and coordinate run schedules
-Perform general housekeeping duties
-Relay messages and directives to delivery team
-Report and escalate all delivery deficiencies to the appropriate department
-Ensure all delivery documentation is complete/submitted in a timely manner
-Assign deliveries to maximize fleet productivity
-Completion of high school
-Minimum 4 years full time working experience in a warehousing environment
-Previous Management/Supervisory experience
-Experience with computer dispatch systems
-Background check is required
-Health and safety awareness training is an asset
