POSITION PURPOSE SUMMARY:
Receiving/inspecting goods and verifying items against the shipment record e Pick-up and delivery of goods •Gathering, verifying, and packing items for shipment according to specifications and the applicable transportation method •Recording received and shipped items
ACCOUNTABILITIES:

The incumbent may perform all, some, or similar range of duties. Warehouse:
Perform shipping and receiving of goods.
Inspect goods received for quality, damage, expiry (use-by') dates; document, rotate, and store stock appropriately to ensure maximum yield is achieved.
General:
Promote the Mission, Policies and Objectives of The Salvation Army and its services in Canada. o Prepare, complete and submit documentation in a timely manner as required.
CRITICAL RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT
Work closely with the Warehouse Supervisor
Governance Boards and Councils: None
Internal: Work cooperatively with Supply Chain Warehouse Manager/Workers, Drivers, and volunteers
External: Interact courteously and professionally with suppliers and donors
MANAGERIAL/TECHNICAL LEADERSHIP RESPONSIBILITY:
Reports directly to the Program Coordinator e Direct reports for this position: None
WORKING CONDITIONS:
The above responsibilities must be discharged in accordance with The Salvation Army's Mission Statement, in a professional manner, exemplifying Christian standards of conduct.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS:

Validate Class 5 Driver's License Experience and Knowledge:

1 Year of experience required at a minimum for this position and any other experience requirements.
Compensation:
The target hiring range for this position is $17.85 to $18.58 with a maximum of $22.29.Who We Are
