Job summary

Graybar Canada in Vaughan, ON, is seeking a Warehouse Support for the Evening Shift (3:30pm-12:30am). You will assist in picking orders, shipping/receiving, and loading/unloading trucks, while maintaining a safe, organized warehouse.

Ideal candidates have a Grade 12 education, are comfortable with computers, and are willing to lift up to 60 lbs. Training for forklift use is provided, and there are opportunities to grow within the company.

Qualifications

• Minimum Grade 12 education.
• Previous warehouse handling experience will be considered an asset.
• Ability to lift up to 60 lbs.
• Interest in progressing within the organization.
• Competent with computer and various operating systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist in picking orders, shipping and receiving, load and unload trucks.
• Read purchase orders to determine items to be moved, gathered and/or shipped.
• Use of forklift, training provided by Graybar Canada.
• Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves or in bins.
• Assist in counting of physical inventory.
• Organize warehouse and work area for orderliness at all times.

Preferred Skills & Experience:

• Minimum Grade 12 education.
• Previous warehouse handling experience will be considered an asset.
• Ability to do light to moderate lifting (up to 60 lbs).
• An interest in progressing within our organization.
• Competent with computer and various operating systems.

Salary Range: $43,680-$45,760
