Job summary

Bunzl Canada in Victoria is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to lead day-to-day operations, guide staff, and ensure safety and procedural compliance while driving continuous improvement. You will oversee cycle counts, inventory accuracy, order assembly, and shipping readiness.

This role features a 2:30pm–11pm shift and opportunities to optimize warehouse performance in a collaborative, safety‑minded team environment where every day supports efficient service for our customers.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 1-3 years of warehouse supervisory experience.
  • Knowledge of WMS systems and safety regulations.
  • Ability to lift 25 kg to 55+ lbs regularly and work at heights.
  • Proficiency in MS Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

  • Lead staff and ensure adherence to Bunzl Daily Best Practices and procedures.
  • Conduct cycle counts, activity walks, and empty-bin walks daily.
  • Meet Bunzl Standard KPI Goals.
  • Support accurate and timely order assembly and shipment preparation.
  • Optimize cube utilization on delivery vehicles to reduce operating costs.
  • Maintain a professional and collaborative working environment.
  • Promote a safe workplace and ensure compliance with occupational health and safety legislation and company policies.
  • Coordinate equipment maintenance and repairs.
  • Monitor operational performance and support employees in meeting productivity and accuracy targets.
  • Assist with receiving, picking, and general warehouse functions as needed.

Job description

Pay or shift range: $25 CAD to $26 CAD. The salary range is based on a variety of factors, including experience, education, certifications and geographic location.

Description

The Warehouse Supervisor supports day-to-day warehouse operations by leading staff, ensuring compliance with safety and operational procedures, and driving continuous improvement.

Salary range: $25/hr-$26/hr

Shift: 2:30pm-11pm

Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Prior lead or supervisory experience required.
  • 1-3 years of warehouse experience.
  • Knowledge of WMS systems, OHSA regulations, and transportation regulations.
  • Strong judgment, communication, and multitasking skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Word and Excel.
  • Ability to safely lift up to 25kg to 55+ lbs. on a regular basis and work at heights of up to 26 feet.
  • Experience with order pickers, counterbalance forklifts, reach trucks, and pump trucks.
  • Ability to work safely in accordance with company safety policies and applicable occupational health and safety legislation.
