Job summary

Bunzl Canada Inc. in Ontario is seeking an AZ Driver to deliver products safely to customer locations while upholding Bunzl's high service standards.

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 5-6 a.m. start, with required overtime. Hourly rate: $26/hr-$27/hr. You will operate company vehicles, perform pre- and post-trip inspections, and maintain logs and safety protocols.

Qualifications

  • Valid Class AZ license with clean drivers abstract.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Electronic Logging Device (ELD) experience.
  • Minimum three years of commercial driving experience or accredited training.
  • Knowledge of provincial transportation regulations.
  • Ability to read and interpret manifests and invoices.
  • Strong organization and communication skills.
  • Ability to lift and move products as required.

Responsibilities

  • Operate company vehicles safely and in compliance with all transportation regulations. Deliver customer orders accurately and on schedule.
  • Meet Bunzl Standard KPI Goals. (Hiring Manager to Elaborate)
  • Load and unload products manually or using pallet jacks and other equipment.
  • Communicate with Manager/Customers regarding deliveries and returns.
  • Complete daily logs and comply with provincial transportation regulations.
  • Conduct pre and post-trip inspections.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Perform additional duties as required.
